Ingredients(serves 4)
- Shrimp
- Olive oil
- Linguine, cooked
Shrimp Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Sauce
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp red chili flakes
- Juice of 1 whole lemon
- 1/2 cup pasta water
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan
- A bunch of fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the shrimp
In a bowl, season the shrimp with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Toss well until evenly coated. - Cook the shrimp
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside. - Make the sauce
In the same pan, add the butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and red chili flakes. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then add the lemon juice. - Add the pasta
Add the cooked linguine to the pan along with the chopped parsley, pasta water, and shredded parmesan. Toss everything together until the sauce is silky and coats the pasta well. - Finish the dish
Add the cooked shrimp back into the pan and toss gently to combine. - Serve
Serve warm with extra parsley and parmesan on top if desired.
