This creamy garlic chicken pasta is an easy dinner that feels restaurant quality but is so simple to make at home. It has juicy seasoned chicken, a rich garlic cream sauce, and fettuccine tossed right into all that flavor.

- 3 chicken breasts, halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
Pasta Sauce
- Fettuccine pasta
- 6 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 white onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp red chili flakes, or to taste
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season the chicken
In a bowl, combine the chicken with olive oil, paprika, red pepper flakes, oregano, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well to coat. - Cook the chicken
Heat a pan with a little olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside. - Cook the pasta
Boil the fettuccine according to package directions. Reserve a bit of pasta water before draining. - Start the sauce
In the same pan, lower the heat to medium-low and add the butter. Once melted, add the garlic and onion and cook until the onion is soft and translucent. - Add the seasonings
Stir in the oregano, garlic powder, and red chili flakes. Let the seasonings cook for a minute so they bloom. - Add the cream and Parmesan
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a low simmer. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. - Thin the sauce if needed
Add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce to your desired consistency. - Add the pasta and parsley
Toss the cooked fettuccine into the sauce, then stir in the chopped parsley until everything is well coated. - Serve
Plate the pasta and top with the cooked chicken.
